Geospatial Outreach Specialist
Responsible for outreach activities across several technical application domains in the geospatial sciences for the Columbia Regional Geospatial Service Center (CRGSC). Responsible for the acquisition, distribution, and promotion of remote sensing and other geospatial data and applications through education, research, and outreach activities. Entails travel, primarily within Texas . Reports to the Assistant Director for Education and Training (ADET). This position is security sensitive. Read more here.
Accountant II
Performs advanced professional accounting work in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, state and federal law/regulations, and University policy. Manages all of the Columbia Regional Geospatial Service Center’s accounts relating to grants/contracts, purchasing, travel, student employee records. Prepares all budgets, fiscal reports, and accounting required by various funding entities, including state and federal government. Works closely with the Office of Research & Sponsored Programs. Must attain information through communication with other entities both internal and external to the university. Reports directly to the Director of the Columbia Regional Geospatial Service Center.
