Q: Why can’t I open image data from your site?
A: Most of the image data on our site is compressed using Mr. Sid. Most modern desktop GIS software knows how to read Mr. Sid format. Plug ins are available for other applications and web browsers. Look under “Other Resources” under the “Data” tab for Mr. Sid utilities.
