The Columbia Regional Geospatial Service Center, Arthur Temple College of Forestry and Agriculture, Stephen F. Austin State University, the East Texas GIS & GPS Users Group (ETUG), and South Central Arc GIS Users Group (SCAUG) are pleased to announce the 3rd Annual East Texas Geospatial Conference, designed to bring together GIS professionals, addressing coordinators, 9-1-1 and emergency response specialists, Forestry and Natural Resource professionals for networking, learning, and training opportunities.

Workshops
Five technical workshops will be held at an additional cost of $15 each. Sessions will include ArcPad I, ArcPad II, Geocoding in ArcGIS 9.3, Weather Mash-ups and Introduction to Plume Modeling. In addition, a GISP certification overview will be held for $10.

Costs
$50 includes lunch both days and dinner on Wednesday evening (with a bit of a social thrown in afterwards).

Call for Presentations
Oral presentations will be limited to 15 minutes followed by 3-5 minutes of questions. If needed, a longer time frame can be given with advanced notice. Please submit an 150 word abstract paper or poster via email to: dmcdonald@crgsc.org. Please note if you have needs for any special equipment.

Poster Competition
Submit your map/poster to be entered into the poster competition at registration. Cash prizes will be awarded to the top three posters.

Vendors
Vendor sponsorship is available at three levels:
  • Platinum ($500) which provides recognition in the conference flyer, a vendor booth, conference registration for one individual and recognition for support of the social.
  • Gold sponsorship ($300) which will provide recognition in the conference flyer, a vendor booth and registration for one individual.
  • Silver sponsorship ($200) which will provide recognition in the conference flyer and one conference registration.
